About the show

Why Reinsurance Nation exists.

Reinsurance Nation is a dealer reinsurance podcast hosted by Michael Aufmuth and Shane Vossough. Each episode brings together three perspectives: an agent, a dealer, and a different administrator. The first conversations are in production.

We ask how decisions work in practice: what an owner can see, what an operator can explain, and what the numbers leave unanswered. Episodes will bring the recording, an edited introduction, sources, chapters, and a complete transcript together in one place.

Your hosts: Michael and Shane

Michael Aufmuth brings the agent perspective. Shane Vossough brings the dealer perspective. They co-host the show, with a different administrator joining each episode.

Both worked for their fathers in family dealerships in Tucson. Their paths then took different directions: Michael moved toward the agency business, while Shane went on to take over the dealership. That shared background and those different paths shape the perspectives they bring to the show.
