Editorial standards & corrections
How we publish conversations.
Policy updated
These standards apply to each episode before it is marked published. Reinsurance Nation’s first conversations are in production. Michael Aufmuth is the editorial contact for the show.
Original experience, clearly attributed
Our episodes center on firsthand conversations. A guest’s experience or opinion is attributed to that guest. An anecdote is not a market benchmark, and a confident statement is not automatically a verified fact. Written takeaways and dealer implications must be grounded in the recording.
Sources and review
Factual assertions in our editorial summaries must link to primary sources where applicable. We identify the relevant date, jurisdiction, and limitations when these affect interpretation. Tax, legal, accounting, and regulatory assertions require review by a qualified person before they are presented as factual guidance. A release records who reviewed the transcript, sources, and final editorial material.
Transcripts and quotations
Every released episode must include a complete, reviewed HTML transcript with speaker attribution and timestamps. We may lightly edit repetitions or verbal fillers for readability while preserving meaning. The episode identifies its editing convention; uncertain or inaudible language is marked rather than invented. Quotes link to their place in the transcript.
Ownership, sponsorships, and conflicts
Reinsurance Nation is part of the Elite FI Partners ecosystem. Elite FI Partners provides dealer F&I, reinsurance, and training services. The show is not unaffiliated with those commercial interests.
Each published episode must disclose relevant sponsorships, compensation, guest business interests, and relationships that could affect a reader’s interpretation. Paid messages must be identified. A guest’s appearance is not a blanket endorsement of their company, products, or conclusions.
Corrections and changing information
Send a correction to michael@elitefipartners.com, including the episode, passage or timestamp, and supporting source. Substantive corrections receive a dated explanation on the episode page. The original recording’s context remains distinguishable from a later editorial update.
Time-sensitive claims should be reviewed when the relevant law, rule, source, or circumstances change. Publication and update dates remain visible. An older conversation is not represented as current advice simply because its page is still available.
Education and advice
Content is educational, not personalized tax, legal, accounting, or financial advice. Consult qualified professionals about your circumstances. Practical decision tools belong on Dealer-Reinsurance.com; deeper technical analysis belongs on AutomotiveReinsurance.com; dealer-specific service inquiries go to Elite FI Partners.
Permissions and responsibility
A release requires permission to use the recording, guest contributions, and images. Confidential customer or dealership details must not be published without appropriate permission. Automated transcription or drafting does not replace human review and accountability.
